Today more than ever before, it is important to get involved in our community and to help elect good conservative leaders to represent us in our local, state and national government. Republican Women voices are needed in our Community, on our School Boards and in our Public Offices.
JCRW resources are used to educate our members on legislative issues. Train Campaign Leaders and Volunteers and Promote Republican ideals. Within our Community we fundraise to bring American Ideals to our school children with Constitution & Flag Programs. Over the past several years we have grown our organization and today we have a very viable and active group of women dedicated to Republican Values and working very hard to achieve all of our goals.
Last year we fundraised and delivered 14,000 constitutions to the 9-12 graders within Jackson County. One of our active members was elected to the Medford City Council. We hosted forums for all of our candidates and had wonderful programs at our luncheon meetings.
This year we will deliver Constitutions to all Eighth Graders within our County and begin a Flag Program for 3rd graders. We will continue to fundraise at our 3rd Annual Reagan BBQ for our Education Program. We will have a White Elephant Sale in June and a Campaign School in October to prepare our membership for the 2012 Elections. We will work with our members to attend School Board meetings and encourage our membership to run for School Board Positions in May of 2011. We will bring a bus load of Jackson County Republican Women Members up to a Day at the Legislature to meet and watch our Leaders in action. We will also have several Caring for America programs to support our troops.
2011 will be a very exciting year for Jackson County Republican Women. Consider joining us at a Luncheon Meeting, the Second Thursday of each month or one of our Let’s Talk Evening Meetings at the Medford Library on the third Thursday of each month. We have exciting and interesting guest speakers, programs and films at these meetings. As a member you will have access to our Members Only portion of our web site and our on-line Library where you may borrow books.
Membership is in the heart of every organization. We invite you to join a group of dedicated and devoted women who subscribe to Conservative Values and wish to make a difference in our Community and our Organization.
